On Saturday Feb.27/16 The Lindsay Tyke Black Squad hosted The Mariposa Lightning. It was a close game all The way through despite The Tyke Black Muskies Dominating the play. The game was a scoreless draw until Gavin Fyke # 11 put Lindsay up 1-0 late in the first period. Evan Duncan # 19 then scored one in the second on a beautiful play from Emerson Lang # 16 and Devon Moynes # 3, but the goal was called back due to a man in the crease. The Jake Van Luik- Brohman # 9 punished them with a quick goal to put Black up by a score of 2-0. Mariposa were able to notch a single tally late in the third period, but from there Alexis kostashuk # 10 shut the door earning herself the 2-1 victory and Player of The Game Honours. Go Get them in the playoffs Black!
