On a roll
Midget Teal came into tonight's game on a 3 game winning streak, facing one of the teams in the league that is struggling to buy a win.

While the coaching staff encouraged the boys to come out full speed right from the first puck drop, the game was rather tight in the first period, with neither team managing to put one past the netminders.
It wasn't until the second period that things started to happen with a quick goal by Mike P to get things started.  With two quick penalties to Dan, coach D'Arcy decided to change things up to help keep Dan out of the tight battles and give him a bit more ice to work with.  With 4 1/2 minutes left in the period, Mike P banged home his second goal of the period.  With his new found space on the ice, Dan quickly followed that up with the visitor's 3 marker of the game, and on his very next shift Dan made it 2 goals for him in the frame as well.  Lindsay Teal however waas not yet ready to go to the dressing room for the flood, and 30 seconds after the 4th goal entered the net, Jeff potted one to make it a 5-0 lead going into the flood.
The third period saw Teal passing the puck around a bit more to try and get a couple of the defence the opportunity to score thier first goals of the season.  Jeff made a valiant effort to get Greg C his goal, but unfortunately Greg was not able to hit the target and came up empty-handed.  As the saying goes however, good things come in 3's.  In this case it was going to be 3 players with two goals apiece, so with just under three minutes remaining Jeff took matters into his own hands and scored his 2nd goal of the game to finish the scoring for Teal with a final score of 6-0 and a 4 game win streak, bring the record so far to 11 wins and 4 losses.
With his great work in net Dylan earned his 3rd shutout of the season to date.
