Star Dust
Submitted By Robin DeShane on Sunday, February 9, 2020
On Saturday February 1st/2020 The Atom BB Muskies started their second round playoff series with The Napanee Stars at The Strathcona paper Centre. The Muskies would Strike early and often and show the Stars that Blood in The water is not a good thing when there are Muskies around.

The Muskies would head back down the 401 to Lindsay with a team based 6-0 win, a one game series lead and home ice advantage. On Sunday Feb.2/2020 The Muskies would host the Stars at The LRC and jump out to an early 3-0 lead but would run out of gas and fall 4-3 in overtime to the Stars. On Wednesday Feb.5th/2020 The Muskies would travel back to Napanee to face off in game # 3 and fought hard for a 5-3 win after a slow start to the game. The Muskies would take a two game to one lead into Friday night at home in front of a packed crowd. The Muskies would not disappoint as they would play neck and neck with the Stars and dominate most of the game and lead by a score of 4 - 2 after two frames. The Muskies must have smelt the blood between periods and came out in a feeding frenzy and sent the Stars home packing to the tune of a 7-3 loss.
First Star of The game goes to Riley MacLean # 4 for his Hat Trick effort that sent the Stars falling from the sky and nothing left to wish upon.
Next up The Atom BB Muskies travel to Muskoka to Face The Bears in the first game of their All Ontario Quarter Final series on Friday February 14th. Then back at home on Saturday February 15th at 5:30 pm at The LRC and Sunday afternoon at home at 2 pm.
