Weekend Road Trip
On Friday October 13/2017 The Lindsay Novice BB Muskies took their game out on the road on an Eastern road swing. It was Friday the 13th and the Muskies bad luck continued as they faced off against the Coyotes in Omemee.
The Muskies would dominate the first two periods including goals from Ethan Yurick # 17 assisted by Hayden Runge # 7 and an unassisted marker from Jack Golden # 19 that would allow the Muskies to take a 2-1 lead into the third period. Bad luck would strike once again on the Muskies as the Coyotes would score four times in the third including two late third period tallies. The Muskies would only add an unassisted goal by Ethan Yurick # 17 to end the game in a 5-3 loss.
Warrior Of The Game Honours Friday would go to Oliver Nicholls # 10 for his stellar play on the point. Great Job Oliver keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Saturday October 14/2017 The Muskies had an off day with an optional practice which all players attended, The Muskies also took the time to do a photo opportunity for the Muskie BB fans and allow then to take pics and meet and greet with their favourite Novice BB Muskie.
On Sunday October 15/2017 The Muskies were In Sturgeon to face the Thunder. The Muskies would strike early and often to provide Coach Rich Fyke with a much needed birthday gift with the 10 -1 victory. Gavin Fyke # 11 would lead the way for The BB squad with a Hat Trick and an assist. Jack Golden # 19 would have two goals and an assist, Ethan Chapman # 87 would also have two goals and an assist himself. Ethan Yurick # 17 would notch a goal and 3 assist. Riley MacLean # 4 would add a marker of his own and Hayden Runge # 7 would add a single tally and an assist to the total. The Defense core would also chip in with three assist as well from Oliver Nicholls # 10, Evan Duncan # 12 and Patrick Dowdall # 71
Warrior of The game Sunday went to Gavin Fyke # 11 for his offensive outburst. Great Job Gavin keep it rolling !!!!!!!!!!!!
