Play-off Summary Part #1
Round one of the playoff's had Tyke Teal vs. Brock Wild White. These two teams could not have been more evenly matched. These two teams provided an exciting brand of hockey, unlike any other match up they faced all season, and the playoffs did not disappoint. Game #1 went to overtime with Brock pulling out the victory on home ice 3-2. Game #2 took place in Lindsay and proved to be just as exciting. Brock scored late in the third and the pressure kept coming. Lindsay managed to defend expertly and claim the win.

Game #3 of this series took place in Lindsay and was just as exciting as the first two games. Both teams battled back and forth to see it tied 4-4 at the end of regulation. Overtime proved nothing and lead to a 6th and final game having to be scheduled, if needed. It can not be overstated on how close these two teams were matched up.
It is still a mystery which Lindsay Teal team showed up for game #4. So we're just gonna skip the details of an 8-1 butt kicking by the Brock Wild.
On the other hand, Game #5 was all Lindsay Muskies. The score held at 1-0 Lindsay for the first two periods but a power play blossomed into five unanswered Lindsay goals in the third period for a final of 6-0! This meant that a game #6 would be necessary back in Sunderland.
Game #6 was also a battle to the buzzer with both teams scoring back and forth. Brock managed to tie the score at four goals a piece by scoring 3 goals in less than three minutes, early in the third period. Not until Tyler Junkin scored with 6:35 left in the third did the parents and players from Lindsay take a breath. Nolan Buttar put the game away with an insurance goal with less than three minutes left. What a series!!!!! Great job, Lindsay Tyke Teal!
And on to round #2......
