Muskies lose to Bulls at home
The Muskies lost their third game of the season after a game against the Belleville Bulls on Tuesday night.

Both teams came out determined to get their second win of the season. Both teams had several chances to score the first goal but both goales played solid and stopped everything that was shot at them. The first period ended scoreless.

The second period was nothing like the first as Belleville took advantage of the Muskies individual game play and took full control of the game. The Muskies seemed to find themselves on their heels and were seemingly chasing the Bulls around the ice. The game got very chippy and the Muskies ran into some penalty trouble again and found themselves in a big hole. The Bulls scored five goals in the second period to take a big lead into the intermission.

After the intermission the boys came out in the third period showing determination and a will to come back again. They were again playing as a team and quickly got on the board after Bradley Clarke took a pass from Max Barrow and put the puck the net. The Muskies had many chances in the third period but found it difficult to put one past the goaltender.

Although it was a tough lose there was still some positives that came out of it.  The coaching staff will use the positives and the negatives to prepare the team as they begin a 14 game stretch that includes the upcoming tournament in Prince Edward County.

The Muskies have two home games this weekend. They face the Whitby Wildcats at 3:30 on Saturday and will seek revenge against Belleville on Sunday at 1:30.
