Edge of your seat excitement!!
The Muskies brought their A game to the rink yesterday as they prepared to once again face the Highland storm, and were determined to avoid defeat.
In what was likely the most fast paced and exciting game of the season, the scoreboard was 0-0 util well into the third period - though not without a flurry of activity happening at both nets during period 1 and 2 keeping both players and fans on the edge of their seats! A back and forth game, both teams rushing the net yet strong defence in our end and incredible goaltending by #31 Jack Dermedy who on more than one occasion.....

It was tough on the Muskies after relentless hard work to see that puck go into their net late in the third, yet they refused to give up. After a few close opportunities to score, continued effort and teamwork paid off. #17 Wyatt Marsh was able to pop it in close to the net from a well calculated pass to him by #59 Rylan Moore, after being tripped onto his stomach - talk about exciting. Cheering erupted in the stands and players were pumped!
With only a couple minutes to go, the Muskies continued to push hard. As the buzzer sounded, the game ended and the the score remained 1-1. The Muskies should be very proud of their performance! Well done, a great game of hockey!
