On Saturday February 6/2016 The Lindsay Tyke Black squad hosted their annual Tyke tourney along with the Teal Squad. Black faced Essa in their first game and came up on the short end of the stick in a 6-0 loss. Next Up Black faced Barrie and once again came up short in a 10-1 loss. Black then faced Newmarket and jumped out to an early Lead thanks to Jake Van Luik - Brohman # 9 and Emerson Lang # 16, but Newmarket came back and tied the game 3-3. But early in the third Evan Duncan # 19 was able to score the game winner and put Black up 4-3. From there Emerson Lang # 16 and
Jake Van Luik - Brohman # 9 were able to notch a few more and ensure the 7-3 victory for the D championship. Great Job Black!
