On Saturday Feb. 20/16 The Lindsay Tyke Black Squad travelled to Fenelon falls to take on The Sturgeon Thunder White Squad. Sturgeon struck first, but Lindsay Black answered quickly on a goal by Jake Van Luik- Brohman # 9 and followed that up by another, on a great play that saw Gavin Fyke # 11 make a beautiful pass to send
Jake Van Luik- Brohman # 9 in all alone to notch his second of the game to put Black up by a goal. The Thunder squad were then again able to even the score at 2 a piece and that's how it would end. Kade Keenan # 18 anchored the defense with a solid Subban like performance, earning him Player Of The Game honours. Great job kade and the rest of your Black squad!
