On Saturday Jan. 26/19 the Atom AE Muskies would be at home to face the Napanee Stars in Game two of their OMHA Play down series. Napanee would score first in this one to take a 1-0 lead into the second period.

The Muskies would answer in the second to tie it at 1 in front of a big crowd at the LRC. The Stars would Then pop 2 more in to take a 3-1 lead into the third frame. The Muskies would once again show heart for their fans and add 2 of their own to tie it at three. But with only 29 seconds left Napanee would foil the comeback and pop a late one. Even with that the Muskies would not die and nearly scored late in the dying seconds, but a clock error would cost them the chance to persevere and they fell to the Stars 4-3
In Game # 3 Lindsay would once again head east on the 401 to the Strathcona paper Centre to face the Stars on yet again another snowy Sunday day. The Muskies would jump out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Captain Ty Ahern #  96 with the assist going to Silas Burns # 18. Napanee would tie the game shortly after making it 1-1 heading into the second frame. Then Silas (The hammer) Burns # 18 would pop one of his own assisted by #96 Ty Ahern giving him 4 points on the day, to take a 4 -1 lead into the third frame. From there all the scoring was Star related but defensively Evan Duncan#12, Emerson Lang # 97, Patty Dowdall# 71 and Colin DeShane # 16 along with Xavier Evans # 29 would hold of the Stars to only 2 more goals and preserve the 4-3 win to take a 2 point lead into the next game in Lindsay on Saturday Feb. 2/19 at 2:30 pm where they can possibly wrap up the series with a win.
