Bob Merkley Memorial Silver Stick
On November 29/2019 The Atom BB Muskies travelled to Midland to take part in the Regional Silver Stick.
First up the Muskies would face the Collingwood Blackhawks. The Muskies would go down by a goal early but showed heart and worked hard to regain the lead on and be up by a score of 3-1 but the Muskies would be unable to hold off the Hawks and would eventually fall 4-3 in the tourney opener.

On Saturday the Muskies would face the Innisfil Hawks in a barn burner of a game. The Muskies would quickly fall behind to The Hawks to a tune of 3-0, but once again the Fish showed heart and worked their way back with 5 unanswered goals and lead by a score of 5-3, but Innisfil would again storm back and tie it at 5. The Muskies would then answer with one of their own. Once again the Hawks would fly back and add 2 more to their total. The Muskies would not be out done by the top ranked A squad in the Province and notched a late one to end the game in a 7-7 tie.
Next up the Muskies would face The Oro Thunder another top ranked BB squad in the province. The Muskies once again battled hard and were down by a score of 3-2 late in the third when they scored but the Referee called back the goal saying the clock had ran out. The Muskies were very upset by this but took away that they can play with the best Atom squads in the Province and hope to do just that when OMHA playdowns start.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Fear The Fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
