Shooting Stars
On Saturday November 2/19 the Fish travelled down the 115 to Newcastle to take on the Stars. The Muskies were looking for someone to step up in the absence of their leading scorer and what they got was a whole team step up.

The team used each other, moving the puck at will, to keep the pressure on the Stars for most of the game. They played great in their own end, limiting the Stars chances and helped goaltender #29 Charlie Ruston earn his first shutout of the season. #9 Kennedy Phillips would tally the eventual game winner in the first period as she stole the puck and went in all alone to beat the Stars netminder. #80 Nick MacDuff would add another in the first as he buried a pass from #97 Gavin Bell in the back of the net. In the second period #9 Dylan Aspden gave Daddy a nice birthday present when #14 Charlie Baxter found him wide open at the point. Later that period #8 Colton Lytle took a pass from #90 Corbin Allison and powered his way to the front of the net and slid one past the goaltender as he was being hauled down by a Stars defender. They would continue to keep the pressure on the Stars but were unable to beat the Stars netminder again for a 4-0 final score.

The Fish are back in action on Tuesday night when they hit the road to try to avenge their only loss of the young season when they take on the Mariposa Lightning in Little Britain. FEAR THE FISH!!!!!!
