Turn about is fair play
Well, at least that's what the old saying says; Turn about is fair play.  I don't necessarily agree with that adage, but hey, what are you gonna do?

In what was hoped to be a good game leading into the coming weekend tournament in Woodville, Lindsay Teal took on their rivals from Manvers knowing that it would likely be a good battle as 3 out of 4 of the previous games have been.  The fourth one in that set, the last one played against Manvers, was a strong win for Teal by a score of 6-2, this time Teal would find themselves on the reverse side of that, losing 6-3.
In Typical fashion, the first period was fairly tight, coming to a close with a score tied at 1 after Jeff had opened the scoring just 34 seconds into the frame.  In the second period Mike C put 2 goals behind the Manvers net-minder to only 1 goal for the visitors, leaving Teal with a 2-1 lead heading into the flood.  This seemed to be one of those kind of nights when perhaps we would have been better off not having a flood, because for some reason, the wheels fell off in the 3rd period.  Between puck give-aways, lack of being able to clear the puck from the zone, and screening our own goalie, the boys had no chance in the period.  In fact obviously they gave up 4 goals in total, including one with only 1 second left on the clock.
Hopefully the boys can re-group and get themselves ready for an early start in the tournament on Saturday when they play against the host Woodville team
