On Sunday Nov.18/18, the Atom AE Muskies travelled to Fenelon Falls to take on the Thunder. The Muskies were excited to play their Kawartha Lakes rivals.
The Thunder roared jumping out to an early 3-0 lead. The Muskies would answer with their own marker near the end of the second frame. Kennedy Phillips #9 set the small but mighty #7 Hayden Runge in on goal for the Muskies only tally of the contest. At the end of two periods the Muskies would find themselves down 3-1. The Muskies would fail to score again and instead started a parade to the penalty box. Silas Burns #18 would begin the March to the sin bin and he was followed by Tyson Ahern #96 with 4 minutes, Evan Duncan #12 with 2 minutes, and Kennedy Phillips #9 with 2 minutes. With the constant barrage to the box, the Muskies played almost the entire 3rd frame shorthanded giving up 3 more goals to the Thunder, resulting in a 6-1 loss for the visitors from Lindsay.
